Work should feel
like progress.
Slow processes and mundane tasks can fill a whole day. We want to help people turn that time into a sense of accomplishment.
Founder Michael King was an accountant and a dealership Controller. He knows what it’s like to spend hours on work that feels like it should be simpler.
His wife works in a senior role at a personal-injury law firm. Those perspectives help shape the questions behind KBS: where does work get stuck, and how could software help the people doing it?
That’s why we’re building practical AI-assisted programs: to help move repetitive work along, while people stay responsible for the decisions that matter.
Michael’s vision is to build applications with AI woven into their workflows, not simply added as a chatbot. The goal is for that assistance to adapt to how people work and offer to take on tasks with their permission, while keeping the person in control.
